Learning to knit

On a cold winters night it is really relaxing sitting in front of the television and knitting for the grandchildren. The art of knitting was in danger of becoming a dying art but it seems of become popular again with the younger generation.

Learning to knit gives you a great feeling of satisfaction when you see your first garment being worn. I have taught many people to knit over the years and usually taught them to start with a plain jesery rather than the usual scarf.
